You can have one! But not if you’re American.
Canadians are the only ones to get the Rondo as the Rondo, everywhere else it’s sold it’s known as the Carens.

Nope.

Can’t even get a new Soul with a 6-speed anymore here in the states.

I was considering another soul to replace the old one. Well there goes that.

It’s a shame. I drove a 2012 before (6-speed). Liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

Yes you can. Just a base model one.

My 2010 5 speed has been great. It toes a little, hauls, gets it done. And cheap.

Well fuck me! Sho’ can!

Too bad you can't get it with the 2.0 anymore.

Can I be honest for a minute? Korean manual transmissions = meh. However, the 6-speed automatic in my Optima is the first automatic I’ve genuinely been happy with in ten years (except, oddly, the automatic in my Ram Cargo Caravans at my work).

I would be fine with this. I actually like the look of the current-gen Rondo! :)

I agree. I think most Korean cars actually fit autoboxes more than manuals. That is for the exception of cars like the Genesis Coupe and other Korean performance cars. It just fits the character of the car more.

I do too, they’re very attractive looking vanlets. I’d take it over the Mazda5 to be honest.

I had a manual ‘01 Accent. Unfortunately, it was from the time when Hyundai was just learning how to build cars. The 1.5 had a manual that was less than sturdy and I ended up having to replace the clutch and the gearbox at 88k. That Accent wasn’t a bad car, though.

My ‘09 Accent’s manual isn’t bad....the throws are long, but they have a satisfying, surprisingly solid clunkiness (in a good way) to them when putting them into gear. I’ve never had any issues with my 5-speed!

I see these and Chevy’s oddly proportioned competition all the time down here in Daytona and thought they were discontinued. Turns out I was half right

I test drove an ‘08 manual and it was an enormous leap forward. I ended up sticking with my Caravan but it wouldn’t have been a bad decision to trade it.

I found the Chevrolet Orlando. Ewww

Yeah, the Orlando didn’t go over well with people. Was discontinued after GM pulled Chevy from Europe, and they didn’t feel like continuing it solely for Canada.

And you can get the Carens with a 1.7l diesel too, the image you posted, the tach only goes to 5000 rpm.
